Canon 5DS vs Canon 7D

The Canon 5DS provides external measurements of 152mm x 116mm x 76mm (6.0" x 4.6" x 3.0") and a weight of 930 grams (2.05 lbs) and the Canon 7D has proportions of 148mm x 111mm x 74mm (5.8" x 4.4" x 2.9") accompanied by a weight of 860 grams (1.90 lbs).

The 5DS having a bigger sensor will make getting shallower depth of field easier and the Canon 5DS will resolve extra detail using its extra 33MP. Higher resolution can also enable you to crop shots way more aggressively. The newer 5DS will have an advantage when it comes to sensor technology.
