The Canon 5DS provides external measurements of 152mm x 116mm x 76mm (6.0" x 4.6" x 3.0") and a weight of 930 grams (2.05 lbs) and the Canon 7D has proportions of 148mm x 111mm x 74mm (5.8" x 4.4" x 2.9") accompanied by a weight of 860 grams (1.90 lbs).

The 5DS having a bigger sensor will make getting shallower depth of field easier and the Canon 5DS will resolve extra detail using its extra 33MP.
