In this write-up, we are evaluating the Leica V-Lux 40 and Samsung SL30, one being a Small Sensor Superzoom and the other is a Small Sensor Compact by competitors Leica and Samsung. There exists a significant gap between the image resolutions of the V-Lux 40 (14MP) and SL30 (10MP) but they come with the same exact sensor measurements (1/2.3").
