Olympus E-P1 vs Olympus SZ-11 Overview
Its time to look more in depth at the Olympus E-P1 versus Olympus SZ-11, former being a Entry-Level Mirrorless while the latter is a Small Sensor Superzoom and both are designed by Olympus. The image resolution of the E-P1 (12MP) and the SZ-11 (14MP) is relatively comparable but the E-P1 (Four Thirds) and SZ-11 (1/2.3") boast totally different sensor sizes.

The E-P1 was released 24 months earlier than the SZ-11 which makes them a generation apart from each other. Each of these cameras have different body design with the Olympus E-P1 being a Rangefinder-style mirrorless camera and the Olympus SZ-11 being a Compact camera.
