Lets look much closer at the Olympus SZ-15 and Olympus VG-110, former being a Small Sensor Superzoom while the latter is a Ultracompact and they are both designed by Olympus. There exists a large gap between the image resolutions of the SZ-15 (16MP) and VG-110 (12MP) but both cameras have the same sensor dimensions (1/2.3").
