Olympus SH-1 vs Panasonic G100 Sensor Comparison
Normally, it is very difficult to visualise the difference in sensor dimensions simply by checking out specs. The image below will give you a more clear sense of the sensor sizing in the SH-1 and G100.
As you can plainly see, both of the cameras come with different megapixel count and different sensor dimensions. The SH-1 using its smaller sensor will make achieving shallower depth of field tougher and the Panasonic G100 will provide extra detail because of its extra 4 Megapixels. Higher resolution will also enable you to crop shots a good deal more aggressively. The more aged SH-1 will be behind in sensor innovation.
