Olympus SH-2 vs Sony RX100 VII Overview
Its time to look a little more in depth at the Olympus SH-2 and Sony RX100 VII, one being a Small Sensor Superzoom and the other is a Large Sensor Compact by competitors Olympus and Sony. The sensor resolution of the SH-2 (16MP) and the RX100 VII (20MP) is fairly comparable but the SH-2 (1/2.3") and RX100 VII (1") provide totally different sensor sizes.

The SH-2 was released 5 years before the RX100 VII and that is a fairly serious gap as far as camera tech is concerned. The two cameras have different body design with the Olympus SH-2 being a Compact camera and the Sony RX100 VII being a Large Sensor Compact camera.
