Olympus TG-5 vs Panasonic LX3 Overview
Here, we are evaluating the Olympus TG-5 and Panasonic LX3, one is a Waterproof and the other is a Small Sensor Compact by competitors Olympus and Panasonic. The image resolution of the TG-5 (12MP) and the LX3 (10MP) is fairly similar but the TG-5 (1/2.3") and LX3 (1/1.63") have totally different sensor sizes.

The TG-5 was announced 8 years after the LX3 which is quite a sizable gap as far as technology is concerned. Each of these cameras feature the same body design (Compact).
