Olympus XZ-1 vs Panasonic G10 Overview
The following is a in depth review of the Olympus XZ-1 and Panasonic G10, former is a Small Sensor Compact while the latter is a Entry-Level Mirrorless by rivals Olympus and Panasonic. The image resolution of the XZ-1 (10MP) and the G10 (12MP) is pretty similar but the XZ-1 (1/1.63") and G10 (Four Thirds) have totally different sensor sizing.

The XZ-1 featuring a tinier sensor will make getting shallower DOF tougher and the Panasonic G10 will deliver more detail as a result of its extra 2MP.
