Panasonic 3D1 vs Panasonic GF3 Overview
In this article, we are evaluating the Panasonic 3D1 vs Panasonic GF3, one being a Small Sensor Compact and the other is a Entry-Level Mirrorless and they are both sold by Panasonic. The resolution of the 3D1 (12MP) and the GF3 (12MP) is fairly close but the 3D1 (1/2.3") and GF3 (Four Thirds) come with different sensor sizing.

The 3D1 was released 3 months later than the GF3 so they are both of a similar generation. The two cameras offer different body type with the Panasonic 3D1 being a Compact camera and the Panasonic GF3 being a Rangefinder-style mirrorless camera.
