Panasonic FS12 vs Sony W570

The FS12 was introduced 20 months prior to the W570 making them a generation apart from one another. Each of the cameras have the same body design (Ultracompact).

When you are looking to lug around your camera, you are going to need to think about its weight and proportions. The Panasonic FS12 comes with outside measurements of 97mm x 55mm x 22mm (3.8" x 2.2" x 0.9") accompanied by a weight of 129 grams (0.28 lbs) and the Sony W570 has measurements of 91mm x 52mm x 19mm (3.6" x 2.0" x 0.7") along with a weight of 116 grams (0.26 lbs).
