Its time to look much closer at the Panasonic FZ2500 and Sony A230, former is a Large Sensor Superzoom while the latter is a Entry-Level DSLR by brands Panasonic and Sony. There is a substantial difference between the resolutions of the FZ2500 (20MP) and A230 (10MP) and the FZ2500 (1") and A230 (APS-C) offer different sensor sizes.
