Panasonic LX100 vs Sigma DP1 Merrill Overview
Let's look a bit more in depth at the Panasonic LX100 and Sigma DP1 Merrill, both Large Sensor Compact cameras by brands Panasonic and Sigma. The sensor resolution of the LX100 (13MP) and the DP1 Merrill (15MP) is pretty comparable but the LX100 (Four Thirds) and DP1 Merrill (APS-C) use totally different sensor sizing.

The LX100 was unveiled 2 years later than the DP1 Merrill and that is a fairly large gap as far as camera technology is concerned. Each of the cameras come with the identical body type (Large Sensor Compact).
Before we go in to a step-by-step comparison, below is a brief highlight of how the LX100 grades against the DP1 Merrill in relation to portability, imaging, features and an overall rating.
