Panasonic TS1 vs Pentax MX-1

For anyone who is looking to lug around your camera regularly, you'll need to think about its weight and dimensions. The Panasonic TS1 has exterior measurements of 98mm x 63mm x 23mm (3.9" x 2.5" x 0.9") along with a weight of 189 grams (0.42 lbs) whilst the Pentax MX-1 has dimensions of 122mm x 61mm x 51mm (4.8" x 2.4" x 2.0") and a weight of 391 grams (0.86 lbs).

As you can plainly see, both the cameras have the same megapixels albeit different sensor measurements. The TS1 provides the smaller sensor which will make obtaining shallower DOF more challenging. The older TS1 will be behind in sensor technology.
