Here, we will be analyzing the Pentax K-7 versus Sony HX100V, former being a Advanced DSLR while the latter is a Small Sensor Superzoom by competitors Pentax and Sony. The sensor resolution of the K-7 (15MP) and the HX100V (16MP) is pretty well matched but the K-7 (APS-C) and HX100V (1/2.3") offer different sensor dimensions.
