Samsung ST30 vs Sony HX5 Overview
Its time to examine more in depth at the Samsung ST30 and Sony HX5, former being a Ultracompact while the other is a Small Sensor Compact by manufacturers Samsung and Sony. The image resolution of the ST30 (10MP) and the HX5 (10MP) is very comparable but the ST30 (1/3") and HX5 (1/2.4") use totally different sensor measurements.

The ST30 was announced 8 months later than the HX5 and they are both of a similar age. Both the cameras come with different body type with the Samsung ST30 being a Ultracompact camera and the Sony HX5 being a Compact camera.
