Here, we are looking at the Sony G3 and Sony RX10, former being a Small Sensor Compact while the other is a Large Sensor Superzoom and they are both offered by Sony. There is a substantial difference between the image resolutions of the G3 (10MP) and RX10 (20MP) and the G3 (1/2.3") and RX10 (1") offer totally different sensor sizing.
