Canon M100 vs Canon G12 Overview
Following is a complete review of the Canon M100 and Canon G12, former is a Entry-Level Mirrorless while the latter is a Small Sensor Compact and they are both built by Canon. There is a large difference between the image resolutions of the M100 (24MP) and G12 (10MP) and the M100 (APS-C) and G12 (1/1.7") feature different sensor measurements.

The M100 was announced 6 years after the G12 which is quite a serious difference as far as tech is concerned. Each of these cameras come with different body type with the Canon M100 being a Rangefinder-style mirrorless camera and the Canon G12 being a Compact camera.
