The FH27 due to its smaller sensor will make getting shallower depth of field harder and the Panasonic LX10 will provide you with extra detail having its extra 4MP. Greater resolution will also make it easier to crop pics much more aggressively. The older FH27 will be behind when it comes to sensor technology.
