Its time to look more closely at the Panasonic FP3 and Panasonic FZ1000, former being a Ultracompact while the other is a Large Sensor Superzoom and both of them are sold by Panasonic. There exists a large gap among the sensor resolutions of the FP3 (14MP) and FZ1000 (20MP) and the FP3 (1/2.3") and FZ1000 (1") feature totally different sensor dimensions.
