Photographer and visual effects artist, Mohamad Sofian, experienced a devastating loss when his bag containing expensive gear and unpublished projects was mistakenly taken on a flight.
Desperate to recover his belongings, he turned to the online community for assistance, and a heartwarming story of unity unfolded.
Mohamad took to Twitter to share the details of the incident, urging his followers to help spread the word.

Someone mistakenly took my bag from the flight named FlyScoot from Malaysia to Singapore on May 25th, arriving at 10:50 PM. I hope you can share this message until that person notices.

His backpack carried not only essential equipment like his wallet, laptop, and hard disk but also his creative work in the form of unreleased project files and videos.
He even requested assistance in locating an AirTag attached to his wallet.
Despite visiting the Lost and Found department, Mohamad couldn’t find any leads. However, he did spot a backpack that resembled his own, indicating that someone had unknowingly taken his bag and left it behind as unclaimed.

In a turn of events, the live location of his wallet suddenly ceased, leading him to believe that the person who took his bag had caught a connecting flight. Hope began to dwindle as Mohamad’s chances of recovery diminished.
Just as Mohamad’s optimism wavered, fate intervened. A day later, he received a notification indicating that his bag was at Clark International Airport.
Though many offered advice, one message stood out amongst the rest: “I took that bag, sorry for that. How can I reach you?” The message came from Syed Khaja Mohiddin, the individual who had mistakenly taken the bag.
After discreet communication, Mohamad and Syed arranged a meeting to reunite the lost gear with its rightful owner. Despite concerns from individuals warning against potential scams, it turned out to be a genuine act of honesty.
