Its time to look a bit more closely at the Canon D20 versus Canon G12, former being a Waterproof while the latter is a Small Sensor Compact and both are manufactured by Canon. The image resolution of the D20 (12MP) and the G12 (10MP) is pretty well matched but the D20 (1/2.3") and G12 (1/1.7") posses different sensor sizes.
