Attention photographers! Exciting news in the tech world – Logitech has recently acquired Loupedeck. Although the specific details of the acquisition remain undisclosed, this partnership marks a significant advancement in Logitech’s product lineup.

Expect to see Loupedeck’s innovative photo editing consoles, such as the original Loupedeck and the follow-up Loupedeck+, join the ranks of Logitech’s impressive selection of gaming and content creation peripherals including mice, keyboards, headsets, webcams, streaming accessories, and speakers.

Loupedeck first made its debut on Indiegogo back in 2016 with a revolutionary photo editing console named after the company itself.

Recognizing value in Loupedeck’s user-friendly approach, the company expanded its product offerings to cater to a wider audience, including content creators and streamers.

Products like the Loupedeck CT and Loupedeck Live S captured the attention of Logitech, thanks to their focus on empowering creatives to unleash their potential seamlessly.

“Empowering streamers, creators, and gamers is a shared passion between Loupedeck and Logitech. Our goal is to eliminate all obstacles hindering their ability to create, edit, and stream without boundaries,” shares Ujesh Desai, general manager of Logitech G.

This acquisition not only enhances Logitech’s product offerings but also fuels their ambition to create keyboard, mice, and other peripherals that are smarter and contextually aware, providing an exceptional experience for their diverse audiences.

Logitech’s aspiration is to deliver premium experiences and content creation applications to all types of creators, encompassing professional gamers, streamers, and other creative professionals.

By acquiring Loupedeck, Logitech strengthens their commitment to developing seamless interactions between hardware and software and expands the potential uses of Loupedeck devices, taking creative processes to new heights.

Mikko Kesti, Loupedeck’s chief executive officer, expresses his excitement about the partnership, noting that both Loupedeck and Logitech share a dedication to supporting creators and streamers.

He believes that this collaboration will amplify their impact on the creative process, providing limitless opportunities. Rest assured, Loupedeck will continue to provide ongoing support to its customers and partners in the foreseeable future.

Logitech is no stranger to expanding its reach through acquisitions. In the past, the company acquired Saitek and Astro in 2016 and 2017, respectively, in addition to Blue Microphones in 2018.

The acquisition of Loupedeck is another significant step by Logitech in their endeavors to embrace the streaming market after their earlier acquisition of Streamlabs.

As a photographer, stay tuned for what the future holds from this exciting collaboration.
