Ulanzi, a company known for camera accessories, has introduced a new tripod called the Ulanzi Video Fast Heavy-Duty Tripod.Established in 2015, Ulanzi offers a wide range of products for photographers and videographers, such as fog machines, lights, cleaning kits, microphones, and of course, tripods.

Ideal for videographers needing a stable and quick setup, the Video Fast Heavy-Duty Tripod from Ulanzi comes with a one-click lift feature for easy use. It comes in carbon fiber and aluminum options to cater to different preferences and budgets.

Apart from a sturdy base, the tripod’s video head is a standout feature. Equipped with a Manfrotto plate and quick-release mechanism, it allows seamless switching between handheld and tripod shooting. The hydraulic tripod head with a 75mm bowl mount enables precise movements crucial for video work.

Users can anticipate various adjustments on the new Ulanzi tripod. These include a dynamic balance rebound feature for quick leveling, six stops of pan and tilt adjustment, and ten stops of balance adjustment. With constant tilt action, shooting at varied angles is a breeze. There are additional ports and Arri location holes for attaching accessories. The detachable handle is convenient for travel and storage, accommodating both right and left-handed users.

Despite its weight, the Ulanzi Video Fast Heavy-Duty Tripod is robust. The carbon fiber variant weighs 2.7 kilograms (6 pounds) without the head and 4.9 kilograms (10.8 pounds) with it. The aluminum version is slightly heavier, with weights of 3.1 kilograms (6.9 pounds) and 5.3 kilograms (11.69 pounds) without and with the head, respectively. It can carry substantial loads, with a 25-kilogram (55-pound) tripod load capacity and a 10-kilogram (22-pound) ball head load capacity.

This heavy-duty tripod offers excellent height adjustments, extending up to 1.6 meters (5.2 feet) with the head attached and 1.5 meters (4.9 feet) without. Conversely, the minimum height is 0.78 meters (2.6 feet) with the head and 0.64 meters (2.1 feet) without. When folded, it measures 0.83 meters (2.7 feet) in length.

Ulanzi’s new tripod will hit the shelves on March 25. Early birds can enjoy discounted prices until April 8, with the aluminum version priced at $399 and the carbon fiber version at $499. Post the early bird offer, the prices will increase by $100 for both options.
