Today, we’ve got some exciting news for you! It seems that 7Artisans, a company known for its work in the photo and video industry, is expanding its product range to include microphones. They have just teased their newest creation, the 7Artisans DMic-S.
Now, before we get too excited, this is just a teaser. We’ll have to wait a little longer for the official announcement, which is expected in the next couple of weeks. We do have some images and a few details to pique our interest, though.
The DMic-S appears to be a wireless microphone, much like many others available on the market today. It’s small, compact, and perfect for capturing audio on the go. From what we can gather, it should work with a variety of devices, including DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, and even smartphones, as long as you have the right adapter.
Unfortunately, there’s not much else we know at this point. The official announcement will most likely give us more information about the DMic-S. We’re not sure if there will be different configurations available, but there are hints that both single and dual Tx options could be offered. For the latter, there’s even mention of a charging case. However, it’s unclear if a single mic kit will include a case as well.
It’s worth noting that the introduction of the Rode Wireless GO microphone sparked a revolution in this type of portable, compact design. Since then, many other companies, including 7Artisans, have joined the trend and released their own versions. So it’ll be interesting to see what the DMic-S brings to the table and if it can stand out in this already crowded market.
As for features, we can only speculate at this point. Bluetooth connectivity is hinted at, which could potentially allow direct connection to phones or computers. That would be a fantastic feature, although there may be some latency issues to work out. We’ll have to wait and see if this indeed becomes a reality with the DMic-S.
At this stage, it seems that most of the features you’d expect from a wireless microphone system have already been included by various manufacturers. It remains to be seen if 7Artisans can offer something new and innovative with the DMic-S or if they will simply be one of many similar options available.
