He is always keeping a close eye on upcoming storms. When he heard about a forecast predicting a massive lightning storm, he wasted no time. Grabbing his gear, he made his way to his balcony, eager to capture the extraordinary event.
And oh, how his patience and dedication paid off! After 50 minutes of waiting, he managed to capture mesmerizing images of lightning bolts striking the water in Mudanya, Turkey. These breathtaking shots served as the foundation for his remarkable composite photo.
Combining his 30 best frames, Uğur merged them together to create a truly astonishing composition.
Of course, Uğur was transparent about the fact that the photo was a composite. However, despite his disclosure, many viewers still believed that all the lightning bolts occurred simultaneously.
While that would have been an incredibly epic event, it wasn’t the case here. Uğur wanted to dispel any misconceptions by sharing the individual photographs he used on YouTube and his blog.
His intention was to showcase not only his technical ability to flawlessly blend the images, but also his artistic and creative vision that resulted in a composition that is visually pleasing and captivating.
