Look, we all know that every new technology somehow ends up being used to make cat videos. I mean, come on, who can resist the allure of capturing our feline friends in action?
Well, the folks over at Corridor Crew certainly couldn’t. They recently got their hands on the Insta360 Go 3 and decided to test it out on their farm cat. And let me tell you, the results are absolutely amazing.
Now, these guys faced a few challenges when it came to attaching the camera to the cat. They first tried a harness, but it turned out to be way too uncomfortable for the poor kitty.
Can you blame it for wanting to just lie down and relax? No worries though, they quickly came up with a makeshift solution using…wait for it…cardboard. Yes, you read that right.
They crafted a little contraption attached to the cat’s collar using cardboard. And surprisingly, the cat didn’t seem bothered at all (typical cat behavior, right?).
With a few adjustments to the camera settings to keep the horizon steady, they were good to go.
And let me tell you, the footage they captured is unlike anything you’ve seen before. You get a unique perspective from the cat’s point of view, with its adorable little whiskers peeking out at the top of the frame.
They even managed to get shots of Junior, the farm cat, going about its secret farm life. Climbing trees, hanging out with chickens, you name it. But here’s the cool thing about these Insta Go cameras, especially the new version 3.
The camera actually detaches from the main body, allowing you to remotely view a preview. Talk about a game-changer when it comes to remote shooting. Oh, and did I mention that the camera is waterproof too?
So, even if your cat decides to dive into a bath for some reason (not that they ever would), no worries at all.
