Watch NatGeo photographer get jumped by a Liger
W

It is not every day you are standing face to face with a 275 lbs animal that could end your life at a moment’s notice but this is precisely where National Geographer photographer Steve Winter found himself on a photoshoot.

Steve mentions how he was getting squatting and getting ready to take a portrait of the magnificent beast when the Liger decided to run towards him. He stayed eerily calm which is probably best as not to activate the animal’s primal instincts.

Although the animal can be seen as just being playful, there was still a chance of Steve getting hurt but luckily he goes on to mention that nothing happened and it was just a crazy moment caught on video.

The incident happened in Safari Sanctuary in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
